Answering technigues workshops were held at SK Seri Bintang Utara for the Year 6 pupils.
In the English Paper 1, the speaker advised us to....
- Read the questions carefully
- Underline the question's keyword
- Choose the best answer for each question
- Re-check our anwers before we hand in our paper
For Paper 2, the speaker's advises were to....
- Observe the picture carefully in Section A
- NEVER predict on what is going to happen
- Do NOT start our sentences with pronouns
- Construct our sentences using simple,compound and complex sentences to score better
- Check our grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Support our reasons very well in section B to get high marks
- Identify the tenses and write it down immediately in the notes expantion
- Plan our story carefully and have a good introduction, body and ending
- Make our story more interesting by adding suitable adjectives,adverbs,similes,idioms and proverbs. However we must use them appropriately.
- DONT mix the tenses unless needed
